Urban plant landscape was the core content of urban landscape design, and the study of urban plant landscape diversity provided scientific basis for urban grassland system planning and forest landscape planning. On the basis of comprehensive survey, the urban plant landscape diversity in Yong'an was studied by the methods of qualitative description and quantitative analysis, contructing principle of urban plant landscape was proposed and contructing guiding ideology of all kinds of urban grassland plants landscape was summarized. This paper had accomplished the classification of plant landscape of build-up areas and surrounding mountain area in Yong'an. The analysis of landscape diversity would lay a foundation for the construction and protection of urban plant landscape diversity of Yong'an.Main research results were as follows:(1) Four indexes, such as index of landscape diversity, landscape dominance, landscape fragmentation and landscape isolation, were selected to analyze plant landscape diversity in two study areas of build-up area and surrounding mountain area in Yong'an respectively at three aspects of landscape types diversity, pattern diversity and patches diversity. The results showed that every plant landscape type was homogeneous distribution. The indexes of plant landscape isolation and fragmentation were much less in the build-up areas of Yong'an, but among five types of plant landscape, the structure of roadside plant landscape was not reasonable. Plant landscape of surrounding mountain area was on the foundation of Pinus massoniana forest and Cunninghamia lanceolata forest, patched by other plant landscape types to form the landscape structure. The plant landscape diversity in surrounding mountain area was abundant, meaning that the plant landscape of mountain area was less disturbed by people. Therefore, the plant landscape in surrounding mountain area was relatively integrity.(2) From the urban center of Yong'an as a starting point, two kilometers as a interval, five landscape circles were established. Characteristic values of plant landscape in typical line transect of every landscape circle were extracted by ViewGIS software to analyze the gradual changes of plant landscape diversity from urban to countryside. The results showed that the plant landscape types of the third landscape circle were abundant, areas of plant landscape were large and patches were less. With the basic characteristics of higher landscape diversity, smaller landscape fragmentation and landscape isolation, the third landscape circle had the most reasonable plant landscape structure among the five landscape circles.(3) Four typical line transects were chosen from different directions(Northern East, Northern West, Southern East, Southern West). The information of plant landscape in every sample of the line transect was extracted by using ViewGIS software to study the changes of plant landscape diversity of every line transect, and comparatively analyze the plant landscape diversity of four typical line transects. The results showed: with the basic characteristics of higher landscape diversity and landscape dominance, smaller landscape fragmentation and landscape isolation, NE line transect had the most superior plant landscape structure among the four line transects. Plant landscape of northern area was better than that of southern area in Yong'an.(4) The health evaluation of plant landscape was an important content of plant landscape. On the basis of comprehensive analysis of plant landscape diversity in Yong'an, the health evaluation of existing plant landscape of Yong'an was evaluated, and the result was got that the plant landscape of Yong'an was on the sub-health status.(5) Some suggestions were proposed for the improvement of urban plant landscape of Yong'an.All the research results aimed at providing guides for management departments of Yong'an to build urban plant landscape scientificlly and reasonably to exert the maximum ecological benefit and social benefit. The guides would conduct the management departments to plan well the urban land utilization, the urban grassland constructing, the urban biological diversity protection and some other relative jobs in order to accomplish the better plant landscape structure and maintain the stability of local ecosystem.
