This paper is to study the influence of probiotics on the growth, intestinal digestive enzymes activity, intestinal flora and blood biochemical indices of juvenal Pelodiscus sinensis as well as the mechanism of probioticsThrough adding the basal diet of juvenal Pelodiscus sinensis to Bacillus subtilis alone, with the dosages of 0 g/kg,0.5 g/kg,1.0 g/kg,2.0 g/kg和5.0 g/kg for 30days, we can measure probiotics'growth ability, intestinal digestive enzymes activity, intestinal flora and blood biochemical indices at the end of the experiment. The result indicates that weight gaining and specific growth rate of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group, but the feed conversion ratio is lower; intestinal digestive intestinal enzyme of the experimental group is also higher than that of he experimental group, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase and creatinine kinase activity, and creatinine levels are significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.01), except 2.0 g/kg group, lactate dehydrogenase activity in each experimental group is much lower than the control group (P< 0.05 or P <0.01). Every test group of protein, glucose and lipid levels with the control group are not significantly different (P> 0.05) except the 5.0 g/kg group, the total protein, globulin content is significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). Then we can conclude that the basal dietwith Bacillus subtilis can promote the growth of juvenile Pelodiscus sinensis, reduce the diet conversion ratio, improve the intestinal amylase and protease activity, and reduce the level of anaerobic metabolism. The recommended range of adding diet to Pelodiscus sinensis is 1-2 kg.Through adding different concentrations of xylooligosaccharide with the dosages of 0 mg/kg,50 mg/kg,100 mg/kg,200 mg/kg and 500 mg/kg for 30 days, we can determinate the growth activity, intestinal enzyme, and intestinal flora of probioticsafter adding different concentrations of xylooligosaccharide, The results show us that the added xylooligosaccharide can promote growth of juvenile Pelodiscus sinensis, the dosage of 200m/kg has the highest weight gaining. Feed ratio in each experimental group is lower than that of the control group, the intestinal digestive enzymes is also higher, dosage of 100mg/kg in the experimental group has the highest amylase activity, the comparison in amylase activity between experiment group and control group shows high significance(P<0.01), the protease activity of experiment group is higher, but there is no significant, in the way of intestinal flora, the number of total aerobic bacteria and Enterobactriaceae is significantly lower in each experimental group than the control group(P<0.05), the number of bifidobacteria in the 100mg/kg xylooligosaccharide added experimental group is significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05), the other experimental groups are higher than the number of bifidobacteria (P<0.05).The results demonstrate that the addition of xylooligosaccharide to juvenile Pelodiscus sinensis can promote the weight gaining, reduce the diet ratio, improve intestinal enzyme activity, optimize the intestinal flora, the optimum addition level in the diet is 100-200 mg/kg.We can see its effects on the growth activity, intestinal enzyme and blood biochemical indices by adding the combination of Bacillus subtilis (mg/kg)and Xylooligosaccharide (g/kg) to the basal diet with the control group (0,0), groupⅠ(1,100),groupⅡ(1,200),groupⅢ(2,100) and groupⅣ(2,200) respectively for 30 days. The results indicate that the addition of the combinational probiotics can promote the weight gaining and specific growth rate, the groupⅡhas the highest weight gaining and specific growth rate, the diet ratio is lowest, the intestinal enzyme activity of each intestinal enzymes are significantly highest than the control group, the intestinal enzyme and protease activity of groupⅡis the highest and significantly higher(P<0.05); the aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase and total cholesterol levels are lower than the control group and the level of total cholesterol of groupⅡandⅢis significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The level of total protein, albumin and globulin is lower than the control group; the experimental group has higher glucose than the control group except the groupⅣ. The level of triglyceride in experimental group also is higher in which groupⅠ,ⅡandⅣare significantly higher triglyceride levels(P<0.05).The experimental results showe that adding combinational probiotics to the basal diet can promote growth of the juvenile Pelodiscus sinensis, reduce the diet ratio, improve the intestinal activity of amylase and protease, and can affect the blood biochemical indices. Combination of 1 g/kg B. subtilis and 200 mg/kg XOS were recommended to supplement in the diet of juvenile P. sinensis. In conclusion, adding a properamount of Bacillus subtilis and Xylooligosaccharide to the diet can improve Pelodiscus sinensis'weight gaining and specific growth rate, reduce its feed conversion rate and enhance its activity of intestinal enzymes as well as has positive effects on the blood biochemical indices.
