Lactic acid bacillus add in feeding(bait)material by aquatic animals after feeding,to grow in the aquatic animal intestines, can produce a variety of nutrients, such as vitamin(including B,B,vitamin c and vitamin k,etc.),organic acid and growth promoting substance, etc. When bacillus go into aquatic animal digestive tract, bacillus directly inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in the gut,and still can improve the body's immune function.Lactic acid bacillus can rapidly degrade the organic matter in water, including feed of fish and shrimp waste, residue, the bodies of planktonic algae and sludge;Lactic acid bacillus can effectively reduce the water chemical oxygen demand(COD)and biological oxygen demand(BOD)value, reduce the ammonia, nitrite, sulphur content in the water. We collected the fermented Bacillus subtilis as microbial ecological agent, using 2%sodium alginate as wall material and 4%CaCl2 as immobilized agent,to feed the sea cucumbers by mixing the Bacillus probiotics, and then observe the effect on the digestive enzyme activity of the sea cucumbers as well as the impact of the water quality where they were farmed. In the experiment,we fed the sea cucumbers with 5 ml Bacillus subtilis and changed the water in every three days. The results showed that, the amounts of nitrite, ammonia nitrogen and chemical oxygen in the experimental water were detected lower than the control group.By comparing two growth stages, the gut amylase, protease and cellulase activity of the sea cucumbers in the experimental group were elevated, especially amylase activity was significantly increased. To conclude by comparing the increasing rate of the sea cucumbers' mass quantity and quality of daily gain between the experimental group and control group, there was not obvious difference in the first stage of growth, but in the second stage, the gap of data between the two sets gradually increased, that illustrates the effect of Bacillus subtilis on the growth of sea cucumbers gradually increase with time.
