Application Of Plant In Shanghai Rural Tourism Area

Through field study and questionnaire survey, plant materials applied in rural tourist areas of Shanghai and tourist's plant favor were completely studied.First of all, plant materials that have been applied in rural tourist areas of Shanghai were sorted into flowering plant, fruit effect plant, foliage plant, climbing plant, ground cover and lawn, hydrophytes, landscape crops and plucked crops. Then problems existed at present were figured out based on field study, such as there is not plentiful plant species; plant materials were much more repetitively applied; little scenic culture meaning; lack of regional characteristic; uncomfortable march between plants and environment; insufficient management; overly dense planted and low participation; humdrum constructed landscape; lack of expression of countryside connotation.Wushe modern agricultural garden, Jiading Maoqiao village, Jinshang Zhonghua village Happy Farmhouse and Congming Qianwei ecological village were selected as sample areas. With method of questionnaire survey and on-the-spot interview, tourist's plant landscape favor in rural scenic areas was chosen as researching item. According to analysis and on-the-spot interview, new understanding of tourists'purpose in rural areas, travelers'understanding about necessary elements in countryside landscape and countryside culture, construction direction of rural tourist area landscape that travelers expected, traveler's characteristics, psychologies and fancy came to a conclusion.According to above studying results and the analysis of typical plant landscape community in 15 Shanghai rural scenic areas, view, life meaning, cultural effect and economic influence, how to apply plant material in rural areas'landscape were studied. What's more, from the angles of space, vision, olfaction plant landscape and travelers'psychology were researched. Finally based on region characteristics of Shanghai rural tourism, plant landscape configuration models including view type, recreation type, generation type and science education type were proposed.
