To investigate the effects of serogan and chorionic gonadotropin in inducing the Anestrous female raccoon dogs come into an estrous state were the purpose of this study. The study progressed on early December, formulated dosage regimen basised on the process of generation physiology as follow. Selected 15 healthy anestrous raccoon dogs (8 months) and divided into three groups on random: The experiment group 1 were injected with PMSG 800IU per piece , with PMSG200IU per piece after 72 hours,and with HCG150IU per piece after 48 hours; The experiment group 2 were injected with PMSG 800IU per piece , with HCG200IU per piece after 72 hours, and with HCG150IU per piece after 48 hours;The control group were treated with an equal volume isotonic Na chloride by intramuscular injection. Observated the empathema status,the change of estradiol and pregnendione in blood plasm , as well as the histological change of ovaries and uterus of the female raccoon dogs in each group.The results indicated that the female raccoon dogs in experiment group were all empathema, the female raccoon dogs in the experiment group 1 were getting into oestrus after 6 to 7 days, estrous rate was 100%; the female raccoon dogs in the experiment group 2 were getting into oestrus after 5 to 6 days, estrous rate was 100%; but the control group had no empathema appearance.The result on the content of estradiol and pregnendione in radioimmunity indicated that the content of estradiol and pregnendione in blood plasm of the female raccoon dogs in experiment groups both advanced , the content of estradiol in experiment group 1 reached to peak at 37.00±4.699pg/ml in seventh day of the experiment, which was greatly remarkable higher than control group,then decreased rapidly; the content of estradiol in experiment group 2 reached to peak at 31.29±3.373pg/ml in fifth day of the experiment, which was greatly remarkable higher than control group,then decreased rapidly. The content of progesterone kept on advancing ,and reached by 2.03±1.013ng/ml at eleventh day,which was greatly remarkable higher than control group.Among which , the level of estradiol and pregnendione in blood plasm all reached the level of natural empathema ,and the change curve was coincide with that of oestrous cycle.The weight of ovarian was increasing and uterus was thickening after treated with exogenous hormone in two experiment groups , which were greatly higher than control group. From the result of histological section, we can see that there were more primordial follicle,primary follicle and secondary follicle in ovaries of the control group, antral follicles were rather few and occurrenced imperforation,;but folliculus ovarii developed by disparity degree in two experiment groups, the amount of primary follicle and secondary follicle decreased, the amount of antral follicles increased, folliculus ovarii in the experiment group 1 developped into stage of ripeness, but granular cell ablated into antrum folliculi because of un-ovulation that lead to atresia; folliculus ovarii in the experiment group 2 developped into stage of ripeness and ruptured to ovulate, the corepus luteum were observed , the ovulation rate reached to 60%. And the endometrium was thickening, uterine glands were increased and extended, the development of uterus was sufficient, for the preparation in embryo implantation.The experiment consequence above showed that serogan and chorionic gonadotropin could inducte the anestrous female raccoon dogs come into an estrous state, the time of induction empathema is short, and could induce ovulation of mature follicle by injected chorionic gonadotropin twice.
