Comparative Studies On Partial Biological Characteristics Of Diploids And Triploids Ukraine Carp (Cyprinus Carpio)

Ploidy about induced Ukraine Carp was identified. Biochemical indexes, oxygen consumption rates, muscle content, digestive enzyme activities, gonad development and growth performance were detected by routine methods.1.①The volumes of erythrocytes and its nucleus in triploid Ukraine carp were as 1.64 and 1.62 times as that of diploid, respectively. The results were basically close to 1.5 times as much as the theoretical expecting value.②The chromosome number diploid and triploid were 100 and 150, respectively. The ratio of chromosomes number between diploid and triploid Ukraine Carp was 1:1.5.③T he DNA relative content of triploid was as 1.6 times as that of triploid. 2. There were greatly significant difference between this two kinds of fish in four indicators that are TG, CHO, Fe and P. The Alb, TP,GLOB and UA were significant differences. GLU, Cre, Mg, ALP, ALT and AST were not significant difference.3. Detecting the oxygen consumption rates of juvenile diploid and triploid Ukraine carp at 16±0.5°C,18±0.5°C,20±0.5°C,22±0.5°C and 24.0±0.5°C. The average oxygen consumption rate of juvenile triploid was higher than that of diploid at 24.0±0.5°C;however,the result were reversed when at other temperatures. The oxygen consumption rate of these fishes increased apparently with the increasing of the temperature.4. The protein content of triploid adult fish was significantly higher than that of diploid(0.01foregut>midgut>hepatopancreas; amylase:hepatopancreas>hindgut >midgut>foregut;lipase:hindgut>midgut>foregut>hepatopancreas. 6. There was significant difference in tissue structure between diploid and triploid. The testis of triploid grown only to spermatid stage, the mature sperms were very rare. There were thimbleful developmented oocyte in triploids'2ovary .7. Diploid juvenile fish were grown quicker than tiploid,while it was reserved at adult stage. The GR, SGR, CF and PER of triploid were 6.46%,0.15%,0.04%,0.02% higher than that of diploid.The FCR of triploid was 0.89 lower than that of diploid.There was no significant difference between these indexes.
