In recent decades, worldwide amphibian population decline rapidly, some species are even extinction, although habitat losing and degradation, ultraviolet radiation, habitat fragmentation, climate change and interaction with them are exacerbated for decline of global amphibian populations, but emerging infectious disease-Chytridiomycosis is considered the main reason for the decline. Chytridiomycosis is caused by Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis; it responsible for mass mortalities and population declines worldwide, while there is not any detection has been carried out in China and the epidemiology of this disease in China is still unclear. In order to reveal the existence and distribution of possible pathogen of Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis. Field work was conducted in the distribution of Rana dybwoskii and farm in the northeastern province of Heilongjiang. Samples include 201 wild Rana dybowskii,60 farmed Rana dybowskii and wild 120 tadpoles; Detection methods include PCR testing, culture. PCR results and culture results showed that:Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis was not detected in the samples. These results indicated that we have not found Chytridiomycosis in Rana dybowskii populations in northeast Heilongjiang Province.Chytrid fungus has been found and spread all over the world, China has abundant amphibians and a broad geographical environment which for Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis to survive. As the frog trade, Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis is likely,to spread in China. To better understand chytridiomycosis in China, this paper establishes Chytridiomycosis risk assessment index system, and investigates chytridiomycosis of risk assessment methods, which can provide research-basis to relation between the prevalence and risk factors. Our study is important to distribution of Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis in amphibian populations in Northeast China and world, and to the protection of frogs northeast in China. In this paper, we introduce the risk assessment index system of chytridmycosis, and methods of the risk, which provides risk assessment approach to developing ideas.
