In order to systematically understand the difference of Larix gmelini plantation in different structrue on soil-hydrology characteristics, including soil density, soil porosity condition, soil water storage capacity, soil permeability traits and soil evaporation, the ring sampler and self-made Micro-Lysimeter methods were employed to characterize four types of Larix gmelini plantation at Maoershan in Heilongjiang Province. The differences of soil-hydrology in varied types were obtain through comparison and analysis of variance to reveal the structure of different Larix gmelini plantation and soil water relations, and its impact on the extent of soil hydrological characteristics. That can provide basic data for the reasonable management model, planting methods and creating the high-yield of plantation ecosystem. The main conclusions can be draw from paper as follows:The variance analysis showed that soil physical properties had great difference between several structures (p<0.05). Two-line structure can reduce the soil density, increased the soil porosity, adjust the soil solid-liquid-gaseous phase, improve obviously soil physical properties compare with others. It can create a good soil condition for the growing of Larix gmelini plantation.Within the range of 40cm soil depth, the volume of saturated water was between 1054.20t·hm-2~2239.80t·hm-2. The difference of the volume of saturated water between four kinds of structures was insignificant, but the retention had large difference. It was obvious to improve the retention function of two-line structure and four-line structure. The results indicate that two-line structure and four-line structure were beneficial to hold the water conservation function of forest largely.The change trend of soil infiltration of four kinds of structures was basically in consistence. With the increasing of soil depth, the soil infiltration rate decreased gradually. The time of Infiltration rate of soil moisture by the high initial infiltration rate dropped to a relatively stable infiltration rate had been shortened. The value of cumulative infiltration in the first 30min in the two-line was the biggest, and it was 78.40cm3. Overall, two-line structure was better than others in infiltration capacity.The soil evaporation between four kinds of structure was insignificant (p>0.05). In general, the soil evaporation was low from 06:00 to 10:00, and increased gently. Evaporation increased with high speed initially after 10:00, at the peak of 13:00 approximately. In the rainy season, the rainfall was most in July, and the value of soil evaporation was also most. By correlation analysis, it showed significantly correlation between soil evaporation and soil moisture.
