Study On Walnut(Juglans Regia L.) Variety Traits And Some Physiological Characteristics In Jiyuan City Of China

In this experiment, with Xiangling, Luguang, Qingxiang, Baofeng, Liaohe1, Lvbo, Zhonglin1 and Xifu as tested materials, their variety traits were studied,. The mineral nutrition such as N,P,K,Ca,Mg,Fe,Mn,Zn and Cu during growth and development stage were determined and their annual dynamic change regularity were analysed. The content of soluble suger,starch,total phenolic and flavonoids in phloem of one-year-old branches of walnut were tested. The phenolic compounds content in different varieties of walnut were compared.The relationship between phenolic compounds content and walnut resistance was studied. The results showed that: 1. The early-fruiting walnut varieties Xiangling,Zhonglin1,Liaohe1 and Lvbo trees were high.Tree pose was half opening and vigorous,branches were thick and strong.There were 7~9 leaflets in compound leaf,walnut tree was monoecious but dicling,male flowers was catkin.The ratio of the first lateral branch bearing was high, and the nuts were full of kernel and the color was cream yellow,which tasted incense.The weight ratio kernel to fruit was above 53﹪.They showed that production was high and quality was fine. 2. N,P,K,Ca,Mg,Cu,Mn,Fe,Zn changed regularly in the whole one year.The content of N,P,K reduced gradually with the advance of different varieties walnut phenological phase.In the period of young leaves growing quickly and male or femal coming out,the contents of walnut leaves N,P,K were the highest,in the before of defoliation were the lowest.The content of Ca,Mg were increased gradually with the advance of different varieties walnut phenological phase, in which, Ca content was increased quickly by near 3 times,the reason was that Ca moved hardly; The content of Mg was stable relatively and changing amplitude was lower; The content of Fe,Mn were increased gradually with the advance of different varieties phenological phase. Cu,Zn were increased firstly, and then decreased. For early-fruiting walnut varieties Xiangling,Zhonglin1,Luguang,Bofeng,Liaohe1 and Lvbo,while instructing the fertilizer application with the method of leaf analysis, the period of picking leaves was the earlier period of growth season-leaves fast growing time. 3. The content of soluble sugar,total phenol and flavonoids in the phloem of one-year–old branches were significant differently in different phenology,that is,the content of souble sugar,total phenol and flavonoids in dormant period were distinctly higher than those in growing period.The content of souble sugar,total phenol and flavonoids in the phloem of one-year-old branches were significant differently on different varieties.The relationship between the content of souble sugar,total phenol and flavonoids in the phloem of one-year-old walnut branches of different cultivers was discussed. 4.Total phenol and flavonoids content in phloem of one-year-old branches of walnut had effect on disease resistance of varieties. Qingxiang,Xiangling,Liaohe1,Lvbo and Xifu disease resistance was relatively strong,which the content of total phenol and flavonoids was relatively high.
