Missile craniocerebral injury (MCI) occupies 140% combat wound in all body. Their mortality and disabled rates are the highest in all trauma. At present it is a heat point to study MCI in special environments. But we can't find any reports about MCI in the environment of the high temperature (HT) and high humidity (HH). This study was designed to find the early alterations in life signs, traumatic pathology and bacteria infection at the special condition to get a way of lessenning the hurt. In these experiments a total of 128 mongrel cats were used and randomly divided into the normal temperature control group, the MCI under the normal temperature(25 C ... R1150 %) group, the high temperature and high humidity(35 C RH85 %) group, the MCI under the HI & HH group, the treatment group. It surveyed respectively at 0.5 hour 1 hour, 3 hour and 6 hour. The Carey's model had been improved and 1mg Sodium Aescinate had been injected immediately after the wound. In our experiments Elliot's formulae was used to calculate the brain edema. Semi-quantitative assessment of blood brain barrier about vascular permeability were undertaken with Evans blue. Getting the specimens on the right time and then made the paraffinic slices, these would be stained with hematoxylin and eosin, be stained with toluidine blue. The microvascular were inspected by scanning electron microscopy, meanwhile the ultrathin sections of the brain were inspected by transmission electron microscopy. Bacteria quantity was summed to after the germiculture . As a result, HI & HH heavy influenced the change in life signs. The traumatic brain edema(TBE) in the MCI under the HH & HI group were more severe than those in the MCI under the normal temperature group and the HI & HIH group. The Sodium Aescinate can slowdown the progress of TBE in HI & HH condition. The MCI under the normal temperature group showed vasomotor disorder, there were vasospasm and expansion at the same time. And we found that the vasospasm in the MCI under the HH & HI group had reduced but the hemorrhage had increased; rupture of microvessels, width increasing in tight junction, broken basement membrane and swollen organelles, swollen myelin sheaths were found more often than other groups. The bacteria quantity little increased under the HI & HH environment for six hour. This study revealed that the MCI under the HH & HI were more serious compared to the MCI under the normal temperature. It can ease the vascular permeability after utilization of Sodium Aescinate in early period. During the debridement, through removing brain tissue within 0.5cm from wound track edge, the infection of wound region can be controlled.
