Objective To study the protective effects and mechanism of giving TM1~ against the lung injury during cardiopulmonary bypass. Methods thirty patients with acyanotic congenital heart disease who were undergoing the CPB were randomly divided into contrasted group and TI~4P group, 15 in each group. The changes of C5a, IL-8, TNF-a and MDA ,WBC levels were observed from the bronchoalvelolar lavage fluid(BALF) and blood before CPB and after heart re-beating 10mm ,60min,l2Omin .At same time the values of PaO2fFiO2 were calculated as to evaluating the pulmonary function. Selected 3 patients in each group randomly and a piece of lung tissue were cut to be pathological section. Result Contrasting with the contrasted group, the values of C5a, 11-8, TNF-a of TMP group were much lower, and the pulmonary function were prior to the contrasted group. the pulmonary function show much less PMN gathered in TIMIP group than the contrasted group. Lung tissue pathological section show that there were much less PMN gathered and could not find thrombosis in the microcirculation of TMP group. Conclusion TMP could reduce the activation of Inflammatory factors( C5a, LL-8, TNF-a) and has good protective effects on the lung injury during the CPB.
