Light-curing composite resin is widely used in modem clinical operative dentistry. Among many factors which affect the cure of composite resin, light intensity is the one that is given increasing concern. This article reviews dentin bonding and the effects of light intensity on the composite resin. To deepen the understanding of the light intensity and obtaining the experimental data, the effects of light intensity on the microtensile bond strength (TBS) of dentin bonding with wet-bonding technique and the compressive strength, microtensile strength of light-curing composite resin were studied. I. The effects of light intensity on the microtensile bond strength of dentin bonding with wet-bonding technique TBS of dentin bonding agents exposed to different curing light intensity of 300mW/cm2, 500mW/cm , 800mW/cm with wet- bonding technique was tested by computer-controlled electronic testing machine. The composite-dentin adhesive interface was observed with scanning electron microscope (SEM). TBS of the ?? group exposed to 300mW/cm2 was apparently higher than that exposed to 500mW/cm2 and 800mW/cm2, TBS of the group exposed to 500mW/cm2 was apparently higher than that exposed to 800mW/cm2(P
