The Clinic Initial Study On Curing Nonunion Of Humeral Shaft With Transplantation Of Auto-bonelike Tissue Coordinating Of Chinese Herbs

ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Nonunion is a problem for the orthopedist.The therapy to this disease is bone transplantation and the material for the transplan- tation is auto-bone.With the development of the science, there are too many substitutions can be used.But there are still many problems,such as immunoreaction and absorbablity of the materi- al.The conclusion is the material of the transplantation for the cure of the nonunion is the auto-bone.We have to make an extra wound to obtain the material.So wether can we make only one wound to attain two purpose and use the herbs to prompte union, this is the object of this abstraet.Method we selected 9 cases from the clinic and randomly devied to 3 groups.The first group contain 4 cases, use simple ilium transplantation;The second group have 2 cases, use the ilium and callus to transplant;The third group contain 3 cases, The cure method is the same as the second group and extraly oral the chinese herbal medicine.All the patients?nonunion fixed with 4-6 hole steel plate after transplantation.Result there is not obviously difference of the clinical recovery time between the first and the second group~ but the third?s is obviously short(about l-2weeks). Conclusion callus, as a new material of the transplantation, combined with the chinese herbal medicine, can cure the nonunion and it may be a new method in the future.
