Abstract/Summary:
Seven compounds were isolated from the rhizome of Cnidium officinale Makino by using the methods of solvent extraction , silica gel column chromatography and GC . According the physical and chemical characters, using the methods of spectrographic analysis ,comparing with standard comparison, six chemical structures were identified as β-sitosterol,L-maackiain,Daucosterol,Oleanolic acid,Butyl Phthalide,Ligustilide, the other one may be α-D-glucopyranosepentaacetate valeric acid ester and its structure is waiting for a further study。Fur- thermore ,by using the methods of solvent extraction and GC-MS,four volatile components were determined in the extraction of the n-hexane,they are :Cydopropane,1-ethenyl-2-hexenyl-,[1,alpha,2,beta],Benzene methanol,9,12-Octad ecadienoic acid, methyl ester,11,14-Eicosadienoic acid, methyl ester. By far, many studies have been done abroad on the chemical constituents and pharmacology of Cnidium officinale Makino,While few studies were made about it. Therefore ,the result of this experiment not only filled up the gaps in this field ,and also offered an scientific evidence for making the Cnidium officinale Makino to be recorded as an orthodox medicinal material in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia .
