Chronic hepatitis B belongs to Hypochondriac Pain, Jaundice, Abdomen Distention, Mass, etc. in TCM. Modern research shows that it is a kind of infectious diseases Caused by HBV, which is very common and frequent around the world, especially in China. Thus, the prevention and treatment of this disease is of great significance.In clinical observation, the 68 patients are all diagnosed as the type for liver-stagnation, blood-deficiency and spleen-asthenia. According to the syndromes, the patient are divided into three groups: No. K No. 2^ No. 3, which are treated with the prescription(only change the herbs' dosage in XiaoYao powder)No. 1 > No. 2 ^ No. 3 respectively. When the syndrome of liver-stagnation is more evident than others, the patients are treated with the prescription No. 1. When the syndrome of blood-deficiency is more evident than others, the patients are treated with the prescription No. 2. When the syndrome of spleen-asthenia is more evident than others, the patients are treated with the prescription No. 3. The results are satisfactory, thus preliminarily verified the rationality of the prescriptions.This subject aims at explicating, from the view of recipe science, the rationality of the prescriptions for CHB through compatibility of Chinese herbs.
