Objective To explore morbidity rate and related factors and risk factors of PSD (Post-Stroke Depression), as well as the effect of anti-depression drug treatment on functional rehabilitation. Methods We studied 132 cases with acute cerebrovascular disease diagnosed by clinical physical examination and cranial examine with XCT and MRI, which involved in 78 patients with cerebral infarction (CI) and 54 cases with cerebral hemorrhage(CH). We diagnosed PSD and estimated SSS , ADL and HAMD scales for all patients, meanwhile they were asked to finish SDS and SAS scales completed independly. Results (1) The morbidity of PSD was 44.70%; (2) There was no statistic meanings in CI and CH in the morbidity of PSD( P>0.05 ), the same as male and female. (3)The morbidity and severity level of PSD is related to the degree of neurologic impairment and daily living ability.(4)We found no statistic meanings among location, size and mono-side of disease ( P>0.05 ) . (5) We didn't find the risk factors of PSD. (6) Anti-Depressive drug PROZAC (Fluoxetine Hydrochloride) can ameliorate neurologic impairment during the course of 3 and 6 months, furthermore relieve depression symptom and defect of ability in daily living and more neurologic impairment at 12 months. Conclusion PSD is a frequent and long-term complication in acute cerebrovascular disease, and has an influence on speed of rehabilitation and defection degree of nerval friction in stroke patients. Anti-Depressive therapeutics could ameliorate thesymptom of depression and improve the ability of daily living and neurologic function notably. The clinician should realize the importance of identify and treat PSD as quickly as possible.
