The purpose of the thesis is to light the microcosmic mechanism of the liver governs normal flow of qi, verify the hypothesis suggested by my tutor that the liver governs normal flow of qi relate to monoamine neurotransmitter and regulative hormone. The thesis tracks down the origin and development, systematically arranges the theory of the liver governs normal flow of qi, point out its problems and shortcomings. During the experimental study, according to the hypothesis suggested by tutor, adopt the method of selecting time to make PMS model by emotion stimulus with macaque. We detected the sex hormone and neurotransmitter level in macaques' blood and urine by radioimmunity and capillary electrophoresis apparatus. The result showed that after made model the macaques' expression and behavior changes generally conform to clinic manifestation of liver-qi invasion of PMS; The correlative hormone and transmitter level changes in model macaques' body also conform to clinic microcosmic pathological changes, and by interpretation of results ,it can be seen that model macaques' microcosmic pathological changes have close relationship with PRL, 3 - EP and transmitters- NA, 5-HT. So it can be concluded that the micromechanism of liver governs normal flow of qi really relate to monoamine neurotransmitter and regulative hormone.
