Clinical Study Of Diagnosis Of Coronary Artery Disease By Gated Myocardial Perfusion SPECT

Objective: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is common disease of the cardiovascular system. We evaluate the clinical application of gated myocardial perfusion SPECT and combined with bicycle exercise electrocardiogram test in detection of coronary artery disease .Methods:According to the result of coronary angiography, 59 cases were divided into the group of coronary artery disease (n=33) and the group that is not coronary artery disease (n=23). They received gated myocardial perfusion SPECT, exercise electrocardiogram test. Stress myocardial perfusion SPECT and bicycle exercise electrocardiogram test were simultaneous.Results:myocardial perfusion defects (fixed, reversible, or both) were detected in 26 of the 31 patients with CAD , Sensitivity was 83. 9%. The positive rate of myocardial perfusion was 66. 7% in single-vessel CAD. In two-vessel CAD , the positive rate of myocardial perfusion was 87. 5%, In three-vessel CAD , thepositive rate of myocardial perfusion was 100%.The positive rates for the diagnosis of left main coronary artery , left anterior descending coronary artery , left circumflex, right coronary artery based on any defect were 100%> 85%> 100%> 100%. The sensitivity of combining GSPECT with exercise ECG in diagnosis CAD was 90. 3%.Conclusions: 1 Gated myocardial perfusion SPECT imaging is an accurate method for the diagnosis of CAD, The technique provides a high sensitivity of the diagnosis of CAD. It can be used as gatekeeper before coronary angiography as it is a noninvasive , low cost approaches.2 Gated myocardial perfusion SPECT is suited to the accurate measurement of region and the type of myocardial ischemia , it is significant for making the therapeutic decisions and assessment of prognosis, effect of therapeutic.3 Compared with bicycle exercise electrocardiogram test , GSPECT has higher sensitivity in the detection of CAD.
