Clinical Study On Sanhuang Anxiao Capsule Treating Type2 Diabetes IR

This study was under the guidance of Chinese medicine theory, to observe the clinical curative effect of "Sanhuang anxiao Capsule" on insulin resistance (IR) among type 2 diabetes patients. We hope to definitude the curative effect of the capsule, and to discuss if there exists the "Zhuang Huo Shi Qi (the evil fire cosuming right Qi)" pathogenesis during the proceeding of type 2 diabetes and IR, and the correctness of treatment principle "combining clearing heat, removing toxin and benefiting the rightQi". Then to form the theory basis on treating type 2 diabetes and IR with Chinesemedicine.The thesis summarizes including two parts, review and clinical study.The review part includes 2 papers. The first one reviewed the modern study on type 2 diabetes IR. It introduced IR concept, study history, epidemiology study, etiology, pathogenesis, clinical measurement and evaluation, the relationship with other diseases, treatment and some problem in its modern study. The second part was about the modern Chinese medicine study on IR, introduced general introduction, the cause and pathogenesis, pattern identification, clinical therapy(including experimental study, clinical study, combing Chinese and modern medical study, acupuncture study) and the problems of IR based on Chinese medicine theory.In clinical study part, we divided 60 type 2 diabetes patients into observation group and control group randomly. The observation group patients were treated by basic treatment and Sanhuang anxiao Capsule, the control group patients were given purely basic treatment. To observe the change of FBQ PBQ FINS, PINS, BP, blood lipid, weight and scores of Chinese medicine symptom, evaluate the curative effect after 8 weeks. Results: The clinical study showed that Sanhuang anxiao Capsule could not only improve the clinical symptom, but also better improve IAI, lower blood sugar, blood lipid and IR. Most indexes of observation group showed remarkable difference compared with those before treatment and was better than the control group.-4-Conclusion: Sanhuang anxiao Capsule can lower blood sugar, regulate blood lipid and IR safely, have better curative effect than merely basic treatment. Especially it can improve the syndromes appear in the early period of type 2 diabetes. It is suitable for treating the wet and heat puzzling the spleen, heat remaining in the stomach and intestines, dryness and heat consuming Yin pattern identification.Through the study, we certificated the curative effect of Sanhuang anxiao Capsule on type 2 diabetes IR, raised and discussed the hypothesis of the "Zhuang Huo Shi Qi (the evil fire cosuming right Qi)" pathogenesis during the proceeding of type 2 diabetes and IR, and the treatment principle of combining clearing heat , removing toxin and benefiting the right Qi.
