The Effect Of Tianmagouteng Decoction On Clinic Efficacy And Endothelial Function To Patients With Essential Hypertension (Hyperheptic Yang)

Objective To research the effect of antihypertive therapy with Tianmagouteng decoction on serum nitric oxide (NO) ,endothelin-l (ET-1) and clinic efficacy as well. To investigate the mechanism of antihypertensive drug iTianmagouteng decoction.Methods 60 patients were divided into test group and control group randomly. The two group were treated with Tianmagouteng decoction and Nitrendipine respectively for 4 weeks. To observe the change of clinic blood pressure, serum NO,ET-1 and caltitude the symptom score,to evaluate the symptom efficacy.Result After 4 weeks treatment ,Tianmagouteng decoction and Nitrendipine each lowered the clinic blood pressure to the same extent respectively, (23.47@6.07/11.80@5.02 ;24.07@12.55/14.88@6.11 mmHg, p>0.05 fom each other); The serum NO was significantly increased with Tianmagouteng decoction and Nitrendipine, (36.45@9.13/114.30@37.68; 34.88@8.30/ 89.17@14.00 umol/ml,p<0.001 or p<0.01 from baseline). Tianmagouteng decoction is superior to Nitrendipine in increasing serum NO, p<0.01 from Nitrendipine. The semmET-1 was significantly decreased with Tianmagouteng decoction and Nitrendipine, (87.96@13.57/ 56.21@14.00; 89.17@14.00 / 55.06@14.94pg/ml,p<0.01 from baseline). There was no significant difference between the two groups in decreased serum ET-1, (p>0.05) . The efficacy ratio of symptom is 91% and 70% respectively for test group and control group, The test group is superior to control group in improving sympyom, p<0.05.Conclusion Tianmagouteng decoction can improve endothelial dysfunction by increasing serum NO and decreasing serum ET-1. Tianmagouteng decoction have same efficacy in lowering the clinic blood pressure compared with Nitrendipine. Tianmagouteng decoction is superior to Nitrendipine in symptom efficacy.
