In the research, we observed C57BL/6J inbred mice implanted Lewis lung cancer and kunming mice implanted S180. We tested the hypothesis that The Compound Euphorbia helioscopia L. Powder (CEHLP) can inhibit the growth of lung cancer, we conducted pathomorphology including optic microscope, electron microscope and immunohistochemetry . The results suggested that:(1)The middle dose group could inhibit the growth of tumor, and there are signficant difference between the control group and the middle dose group. (2)The pathologic picture and ultrastructure approved that CEHLP could accelerate apoptosis and necrosis , inhibit mitosis, and effect mitochondrion's appearance and function of tumor cell. (3)The middle dose group and the high dose group could intervene the regulation to tumor cell growth, make the expression of TGF-Bj down-regulate in tumor tissue. (4)The tumor weight inhibition (TWI) wasn't accord with the expression of microscope and TGF-β1. According the analysis to synthesis results, we thought that CEHLP can inhibit the growth of tumor cell, and its mechanisms were complex. The main function of CEHLP was accelerate apoptosis and necrosis, inhibit mitosis, down-regulate expression of TGF-B1, and effect mitochondrion's appearance and function of tumor cell. We found that the low, middle , high dose groups lay particular stress on function. Moreover, the effect of middle dose group had best.To sum up, the research opened up the part mechanisms of CEHLP. Because the compound of Chinese traditional medicine act on many targets, we were hinted to think deeply and study.
