IntroductionThe object of orthodontic treatment is balance, stability and beauty. Orthodontic treatments not only establish normal bones and occlusion, but also acquire facial soft tissue profile. In old day ,the recognition of orthodontics is limited to line teeth, improve occlusion, set up normal overbite, overjet and molar relationship. The research of soft tissue is limit. With the increasing demands of beauty and the improvement of technology, some researcher found that through the orthodontics treatments can cause the alter of soft tissue profile. At present, it's dependent on the cephalograms to obtain the indexes of hard tissue, analysis facial type explore the mechanism of malocclusion and make conclusion. We had few research on facial soft tissue. Soft tissue is the direct index for evaluating the facial type. Index of soft tissue are the direct ones for the orthodontic treatment, we must consider the soft tissue's type, especially Angle's Ⅱ1 malocclusion.This study was designed to observe features of the soft tissue in Angle's II malocclusion and evaluate the relationship between hard tissue and soft tissue facial type, we selected the characteristic index of Angle's II malocclusion's soft tissue and analysed them in general. Angle of ANB which is the characteristic index of Angle's Ⅱ1 malocclusion 's hard tissue and soft tissue index of close correlation, act asthe ideation that evaluated the Angle's Ⅱ1 malocclusion's soft tis-sue. profile provided a help in clinical diagnosis and planning of orthodontic treatments.Materials and MethodsThe sample consist 45 patients with Angle's Ⅱ1 malocclusion. The standards are ANB's angle > 4.5. The average age is 20. 2y. From pretreatment cephalograms , typical measurements of hard tissue and soft tissue were selected and drawed them in a period time, most indexes are adapted according to the research of Fumikui and Burston. The normal value is refered to the book {the X -ray theory and practice) .Indexes of soft tissues ;Angle :∠Ns-Prn-Pog', ∠A' -Ls and B' -Li, zlNs -Sn -Pog',∠Li-B'-Pog', ∠Co-Sn-Ls, ∠FH-A'-Ls,∠S-N'-SN, ∠FH-B'-Li, ∠S-N'-B'∠Zdistance: Ls -E,Li -E,U -Ls,L-Li, long of upper lip.Hard - tissues measuring index ;∠SNA ZSNB 2LANB ∠U, -SN ∠U1-NA ∠Li-NB∠IMPA ∠FMIA ∠FMA distance of A - BMost of the Indexes are angle there were no differences between sexes. It was reported that they were no differences and can be combining studied.Spss 10. 0 software was used to statistical analysis. Using the single comparing t test and pearson's correlative analysis. Analyse thecorrelation among soft tissue and hard tissue, selected the soft item that have close correlation with the Angle's Ⅱ1 malocclusion's soft tissue of angle ANB.Four indexes could be used to identify the class . division maloc-clusion. The indexes that reflect the profile of soft tissue act as the e-valuating the class , division malocclusion.ResultsMeans Values of soft tissue Index results of t - test.∠Ns-Prn-Pog' ,∠Co-Sn - Ls, ∠A' - Ls and B'-Li ,∠FH - A' - Ls , ∠Z angle decrease,∠Ns - Sn - Pog', ∠S - N' - Sn increase.distance of-Ls - E and Li - E increase.The distance of Ls - E and Li-E, long of upper lip increase.There was no statistical significances in ∠s - N' - B' ∠FH -A' -Ls ∠Li-B'-Pog" p>0.05Mean values of hard tissue Index t - test.∠SNA increase ∠ANB increase ∠U1 -Sn increase ∠U1 -NA increase ∠ FMIA. decrease ∠ SNB decreasedistance of A-B increase p <0. 01 ∠FMA no significant statistics.3.
