The Study Of Clinical Effect And Mechanism With Combinative Treatment Of Modern And Traditional Chinese Medicine In Exudative Age--Related Macular Degeneration

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and mechanism with combinative treatment of modern and traditional Chinese medicine in exudative age-related macular degeneration(AMD) and preventig recurrent of choroidal neovascularization (CNV)Methods 80 patients (80eyes) with exudative AMD can be divided two groups by random ,each group has 40 patients .One is called as contrast with treatment by various laser-photocoagulation or transpupillary thermotherapy (TTT). Another is called treatment's group withT C M combining TTT or laser .Observing clinical effect and engaging in study with animal test.Results Clinical general effective rate for treatment group 85%, for contrast 45%(p<0.01); CNV recurrent rate is 12.5% for treatment group ,35% for contrast with FFA ICGA OCT exam (P<0.05) Animal test proverb : both SI WU WU ZI TANG and QI JV DI HUANG KOU FU YE have action in deducing MDA ,ET and increasing SOD ,NO ,but fomer superior to later(p<0.05).Conclusions Combinative treatment of modern and T C M is safely effectively and few complication in treatment exudative AMD as well as preventing CNV recurrent.
