The reproductive medcine expert discover that the sperm concentration is decreasing in the 20th century.The effect of environmental pollution to male reproductive system is important content of scince research in the 21th century.The electromagnectic radiation pollution from radar includes it's projectile device ,data collection system and the electromagnectic wave discharged by antenna of radar.Flow cytometry provides a unique ,rapid,and efficient means to measure effects of reproductive toxins and potential mutagens and is thus a useful tool for epidemiological studies.Objective: Using folw cytometry sperm chromatin structure assay (SCSA) and other methods to evaluate the sperm damage in radar operator.To study the effect of radar radiation to male reproductive system in the molecular level.To discuss it's action link and mechanism combined with sperm cellular detection.Methods: 1.Questionnaire and semen collection: we introduce the knowledge of reproductive system to the participants. A reproductive questionnaire was administered to collect work and medical histories and demographic,lifestyle,and reproductive information. A phisician then performed a limited reproductive physical examination. The semen was collected by masturbation.2. Application WEILI sperm analysis meter to detect sperm concentration ,sperm viability,sperm motility etc.3.Application flow cytometry to analysis sperm chromatin structure and analysing the results with the sofeware of Denovo corporationAThe expert detect the work and life enviroment of the soldiers and record the maximam value .5.The relationship between radar radiation exposure and the male reproductive profile was analyzed with stratified analysis ofexposure status.SPSS 10.0 software was used for all statistical procedures.Results:1.The profile of exposure and control group is similar in demographic,education background ,age,lifestyle.2. sperm motility,quick sperm rate of high exposed have reduced compared with that of low exposed group and control group. Abnormal sperm of high exposed group increased .3. The COMP of high exposed group reduced and it indicate the high exposed group has medium fertility potential.4. The multifator analysis of variance state the working time per day is a dangerous foctor to abnormal sperm rate and abstinence time is a dangerous factor to parameter of SCSA.Conclusion:l.The exposure of radar radiation might be the reseason of decreased sperm motility, sperm viability and increased abmormal sperm rate.2.High exposed radar radiation might cause the poor fecundity.3.low exposed radar radiation could irriate the defense response of the soldier body.4.Working time per day is a hazard factor to abnormal sperm rate,abstinence time is a hazard factor to the parameter of SCSA.
