Objective To study on relationship of type A behavior to stress response with plasma cortisol(orAcortisol i.e difference value of cortisol level between rest and stress) and thyroxin (T3 or T4) for type A and B behaviors, the same with change in phagocytotic function of neutrophils between excising and non-excising group in excise stress or post-excise and rest, and it is compared with change of blood pressure in type A behavior with examining stressor to rest, and more, their relationships between CH (competition and hostility)factor and plasma cortisol difference (orAcortisol) for type A and B behaviors by logic-qualitative research.Method 75 student cases tested were determined for A type behavior using psychological questionnaire. Then they tested by mental stress of limited time arithmetic testing in 3 minutes or so.meanwhile, their blood sample were obtained during 5minutes after stress under empty abadomn at 7~8 a.m. Second blood samples were obtained in 1 week late in rest (no stressing).in final, their plasma cortisol and thyroxin(T3,T4) levels were measured with y-radio-immune analysis by the same specialist. While type A behaviors under examing stressor,their blood pressure changing were detected and while under rest again.and more,while under excising stress,their change in phagocytotic function of neutrophils between excising and non-excising group in excise stress or post-excise and rest.Result(1)the finding showed that for A and B type behavious students the difference of their plasma cortisol levels was not significant(p>0.05)at rest,whereas in mental stress plasma cortisol levels of B type was distinctly high than at rest ,and that of A type,on the other hand ,lower than at rest.Hence a sharp contrast between type A andB behaviors(t=2.376, P<0.05),and more,The result also showed that their plasma levels of T4 was distinctly lower under mental stress than at rest (t=2.687,P<0.05),for the type A behavior,the plasma levels of T3 reduced more significantly than at rest(t=2.875, P<0.05);There was also significant different response of phagocytotic function of neutrophils between excising and non-excising groups in excise stress or post-excise and rest (t=2.132,P<0.05) , the same results as in logic qualitative research(tphago=0.2106,P>0.05, tphago>3.9713.7. P<0.05)respectively. There was also significant difference changes in logic of their blood pressures between (tneutro<1.6160,.P >.05;tneutro>.4558,P <0.05)(2)There was no different response of between plasma cortisol and thyroid hormone(T3) for type A and B behaviors either in stress or rest (tsTRESs<0.05058,tREST<1.1095,all P>.05)respectively in logic,and there was significant difference between type B and A behaviors with either plasmacortisol (tcoRTISOL= 2.373,P>0.05,tCORTISOL >2.843,P<0.05 ) or thyroid hormone(T3)(tT3=4.7436, P<0.05;tT3=0.000,P>.05) in stress and rest with logic-qualitative research.In another exame strcssing,it was finding that blood pressure differences (pulse pressure) of cardiovascular response is decreased in type A behaviors but increased in type B behaviors(t=2.678, P<0.05)although their blood pressures is higher in stress than that in resilience there was significant difference of diastolic,systolic and pulse pressure in logical 1.00 l,P<0.01;t<1.920,P>.05)between type A and B behaviors.(3)Moreover,there was significant difference between type A and B behaviors to stress (t<1.681, P >.05;t>.435,P <0.05) in different response of plasma Aconisol and AT4 in logic. There was significant difference between type A and B behaviors to stress response with three indexes of plasma Acortisol, AT4 and behavior CH factor(t <2.239, P >.05, t>. 993, P <0.05)in logic-qualily research, meanwhile there was consistence between behavior CH factor and changes of plasma cortisol and T4(called stress similarity).Conclusion (1)There is, in logic, stress similarity of type A and B behaviors tostress responses of either plasma cortisol or thyroid hormone(T3)in HPA, phagocytotic function...
