Study On The Effect Of Photosynthetic Bacteria Used As A Biologic Response Modifier In Anti-tumor Therapy

Tumor is a kind of serious disease that is common but threatens human life. It's a clinical hot problem that how to treat it effectively. As a new method of Anti-tumor Therapy, Biologic Response Modifier has many Characteristic advantages and is getting more attention now. And they have had some visible effects in clinical treatment. To study the PSB product's influence on anti-tumor, some small mice model were set up.The results revealed that the photosynthetic bacteria products have significant inhibitory action in both S180 bearing mice and Lewis Lung Carcinoma bearing mice. Maybe, the anti-tumor effect of PSB products are associated with they can increase the activity of anti-oxidation and improve the immunity function of mice. These findings suggest that photosynthetic bacteria can be used as a new Biologic Response Modifier on Anti-tumor Therapy.
