The Research Of Probucol And Fu Fang Dan Shen Drops Alone And In Combination On Restenosis After Intracoronary Stenting

Objective: To evaluate the clinical preventive effect of Probucol and Fu Fang DanShen Drops alone and in combination on restenosis after intracoronary stenting Methods: Coronary heart disease patients with successful intracoronary stenting were divided randomly into the control group ,the group of Fu Fang Dan Shen Drops, the group of Probucol and the group of combination( Probucol plus Fu Fang Dan Shen Drops). The course of treatment was 6 months for them. Quantitative Coronary Analysis was made in all patients with the angiograms of pre-intervention, post-intervention and at follow-up for estimating the effect of Probucol and Fu Fang Dan Shen Drop on restenosis.Results: Coronary angiographic examination showed that comparing between the control group and the other three groups after 6 months: the group of Probucol and combination were 2.11±0.39mm, 0.95±0.38mm, 35± 13, 2.55± 1.22mm2and 2.19±0.36mm, 0.9±0.39mm, 36± 14, 2.69±1.15 mm2 on Minimum Luminal Diameter (MLD) of stenting, the net luminal gain, net gain index, lession area net gain; were larger than the controlgroup(l.85±0.44mm, 0.66±0.40mm, 25± 15, 1.75± 1.12 mm2,? <0.05,for the combination, P<0.01) ;at the same time, on late loss and late loss index(0.56± 0.33mm, 21 ±11 and 0.50± 0.31mm, 19±12 ), were smaller than the control group(0.79± 0.40mm, 30±14, P<0.05, P<0.01 for the combination) .Conclusion: Probucol has definite effect in preventing restenosis after intracoronary stenting; combining Probucol with Fu Fang Dan Shen Drops can achieve more effect than use alone.
