Objection: To study the Antibacterial activity of the main components in membrane for oral lichen planus to the partial oral resident bacteria in vitro. Methods: To study the D-inhibition of chitosan and danshen to inhibit Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Helicobacter pylori and Porphyromonas gingivalis at different concertration(2.0% 1.5% 1.0% 0.5%) by bacterial culture .And to survey their inhibition rate. Results: The bacteriostasis 2.0% chitosan(5 cps) to Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans , Helicobacter pylori and Porphyromonas gingivalis was most strong; So was 2.0%danshen to Staphylococcus aureus and Helicobacter pylori; the bacteriostasis increased when 2.0% danshen and 2.0% chitosan worked together; The bacteriostasis of chitosan was not affected by subject to high temperature and filter and its antibacterial rates had relationship with time. Conclusion: The components(chitosan and danshen ) in membrane for OLP had bacteriostasis to partial oral resident bacteria.
