Objective: To observe the relationship of platelet adhesion molecules a _granule membrane glycoprotein (CD62p), thrombospondin (TSP ) and macropphage antigen compound(CD11b/CD 18) on lymphocyte to the Qi-stagnation induced blood-stasis (QSBS) or Qi-deficiency induced blood-stasis (QDBS) syndrome in hyper viscosity syndrome. Methods: Expressions of platelet adhesion molecules CD62P, TSP and leucocytes adhesion molecules CDllb/CD18 in patients with QSBS and QDBS were determined quantitatively with flow-cytometry and specific monoclonal antibody against activated platelet and leucocytes. And platelet aggregation was tested simultaneously. Results: Expressions of CD62P, TSP and CDllb/CD18in Blood-Stasis patients, both QSBS and QDBS, were significantly higher than those in the normal control (all P<0.01 ). Expressions of CD62P, TSP and CD11b/CD18 were higher in QSBS group than those in QDBS group (all p<0.05). Expressions of CD62P, TSP and CD11b/CD18 in QSBS suffering from the same diseases were all higher than those in QDBS. The differences of CD62p, TSP and CD11b/CD18 expressions in QSBS group suffering from cardiovascular diseases and cerebrovascular diseases were not significant , neither were in QDBS. Positive correlation was shown between CD62p and TSP (r=0.744, p<0.01),CD62p and CD11b/CD18(r=0.781 p<0.01), and between CD62p and ADP induced platelet aggregation (r=0.715 P<0.01).Conclusion: Expressions of CD62P, TSP and CD11b/CD18 in Blood-stasis patients are involved in the pathological process of Blood-stasis. Expressions of CD62p, TSP and CD lib/CD 18 vary in QSBS and QDBS, there are no differences between the two diseases. The research provides objective evidence for micro differentiation syndrome of QSBS and QDBS. It also provides evidence for exploring new recipe in hyper viscosity syndrome. It can predict prognosis of hyper viscosity syndrome by means of blood test CD62p, TSP and CD11b/CD18, which helps to prevent formation of blood clots.
