Objective To probe the morphological character of muscular bridge on coronary sinus and Marshall vein in goat and pig heart, to probe the histological structure and ultrastructure of vessel wall.Method 1.The morphology, stop, run and percentage of the muscular bridge on coronary sinus and Marshall vein in goat and pig heart were observed and measured by gross anatomical technology. 2.To observe the histological structure of vessel wall by olefin tissue slice, HE and Marsson Histiochemical staining. 3.To observe the ultrastructure of vessel wall by electron microscope transmission technology. 4.To do quantitative analysis about parameter of muscular bridge cells of media tunica. To contrast with myocyte of left and right atrium.Result 1.The percentage of muscular bridge on coronary sinus and Marshall vein in goat and pig heart was 90%. According to their morphology , the bridge could be divided into annular, longitudinal and diagonal types. 2. Arrangement of cells about muscular bridge and media tunica of vessel wall in goat was disorder. They were olumnar, non-bifurcate and had obvious myofibrillar filament which hadn't come into being myofibril. But myofilament was less than that in muscle of atrium. Cytoplasm was incompact and clear. Mitochondria between myofilament was abundant. The nucleolus in center of cell were elliptic. Intercalated disk was not typical by optic microscope and simple by electron microscope. The most of that were type of beeline. Desmosome and gap junction were more than midst junction and zonula occludens. A little part of the surface of cellular membrane had caveola. 3. Quantitative analysis:crosscut area of cell and area of nucleolus were bigger than that of cell in atrial muscle. Nucleolus was circinaler than that in atrial muscle. 4. There were abundant never fiber and ganglion in muscular bridge and vessel wall. Conclusion The cardic fiber on the surface of coronary sinus and the Marshall vein in pig's and goat's heart was one of the exceptional channels connecting left and right atrium. Media tunica in muscular bridge, Marshall vein and coronary sinus in goat were composed with cardiac myocyte which had characteristic of Purkinje cell and had a little infantility.
