Cervical whiplash injury is a frequently seen injury in peacetime, especially in traffic accidents. Based on the actual occurrence process of cervical whiplash injury, the new-style occurring equipment of cervical whiplash injury was designed, and a dog model of cervical whiplash injury was built. Combine to a series of measures, including combined behavioral score(CBS)and nerve pathematology general light microscope observing, the changing of Motor evoked potential(MEP) and Cortical somatosensory evoked potential(CSEP) between before injury and after injury, Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and examining anatomical lesion of cervical part subcutaneous tissue, muscle, soft tissue and lungs through macroscopic observation, etc. we observed injury traits of cervical part and investigated the relationships between degree of injury and drawing acceleration, which could afford to important experimental evidence for the studies of whiplash injury occurrence mechanism, safe protect and remedy measures. The main results and conclusions are as follows.1. The home-made cervical part whiplash injury vulnerating equipment can do better to simulate the movement condition of occupants' head and neck in the motor vehicle rear-impact, and we can control to generate vary magnitude scale drawing acceleration through adjusting the drop hammer downcast difference in height and weight. We can use it to research the traumatic condition of whiplash injury.2. Comparing to ahead of injury, there are the prolonging in the latencyes of NI and PI in CSEP and MEP after the experimental dog being injury by the home-made simulating occurring equipment of cervical whiplash injury, which suggest the nerve conduction of cervical spinal cord have suffer lesion. There is a kind of positive correlation between the lesion and the drawing condition, including the drop hammer downcast difference in height and weight, to say in other words, the more the drop hammer downcast difference in height and weight, the more serious the cervical spinal cord injury of the dog.3. The convention light microscope examining of the cervical spinal cord pathological section can discover the change of the pathological damage. It was shown that there occurred the pyknosis, dissolution of Nissl's substance, spongiosis of gray matter andvacuolation in the spinal cord tissue cells. The more drawing acceleration, the more serious the cervical spinal cord pathological degree of injury of the dog.4. The Combined behavioral score(CBS) were used for synthesizing appraisal of motor, sensation, reflection and tension of muscle. We discovered the scores of all kinds teams of dogs were under normal value five points. It was shown the function feature of the cervical spinal cord injury in the praxiology. These results implied that the sensorimotor function of dog after being injury suffered remarkably lesion, and the Combined behavioral score would diminished when the drawing acceleration increased.5. In cardinal principle, we found the dog in the more large drawing acceleration team had the cervical part subcutaneous hemorrhage and dropsical. Otherwise, we didn't detect conspicuous cervical spine fracture, soft tissue injury and the other injury.6. Through the determination of dog head acceleration, ethology (combined behavioral score(CBS))and nerve pathematology general light microscope observating, the changing of Motor evoked potential(MEP) and Cortical somatosensory evoked potential(CSEP) between before injury and after injury, Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and examining anatomical lesion of cervical part subcutaneous tissue, muscle, soft tissue and lungs through macroscopic observation, etc. this series of methods have proved that the home-made simulating occurring equipment of cervical whiplash injury can successfully simulate the proceed of neck whiplash injury and research it.
