Syringa oblata Lindl is classified as syringa plant of Oleaceae. There are about 19 types totally, among these,15 types in our country. They have been spread widely in Liaoning,Beijing,Hebei,Shanxi and Henan provinces. It is recorded that Syringa oblata Lindl owns pharmacological activities in therapy of acute jaundice hepatitis by Chin Herb Synopsis and treatment of diarrhea and hepatitis by Plant Herb Records of Mountain Changbai respectively. 1.In this thesis, the researched development of maintaining liver functions and diuresis was reviewed.Especially in the fields of Syringa oblata Lindl chemical components and their pharmacological activies were studied in details.2.The studies of chemical compounds of Syringa oblata Lindl By means of physical and chemical methods such as resin absorption technique, chromatogrphy, extraction, re-crystallizing et al.we obtained 10 monomer compounds. Among these, 6 monomers were identified by using of physical chemical features, analysis of spectrum (1HNMR,13CNMR,HMBC et al.)(1) compound L-9: lup-20(29)-en-3-one(2) compound L-6: Syringa oblata Lindl lignin saponin A(3)compound L-162: Syringa oblata Lindl lignin saponin B(4) compound L-12: n-nonacosane (5) compound L-2: 4-methyl-12-hydroxytricosane(6) compound L-7:4,19-dimethyl-12,13-dihydroxydocosane。3.The hepatic test concerned on protecting mouse liver from ruinning caused by D-galactosamine and polybile test were carried out by using of total saponin from Syringa oblata Lindl leaf.
