Objective : The recurrent sleep apnea in OSAS patients induces to hypoxia and sleep structure disorder, and accompanied by hypertension, cardio-cerebral vessels diseases and obesity. The objective of this study is to investigate the association between the polymorphism of angiotensin converting enzyme, plasminogen activator inhibitor-l,endothelial nitric oxide synthase, 3 3-adrenergic receptor gene and OSAS.Methods: Polymerase chain reaction was used to determine the polymorphisms of ACE, eNOS, PAI-land 3 3-adrenergic receptor gene in 95 subjects with OSAS and 50 people as control subjects.Result: ?The frequency of The allele I and ID genotype of ACE was higher in OSAS than control, and it might be relate to the severe degree of OSAS. (2) The relationship of allele a of eNOS and OSAS was not found, but allele b might be effect to the severe extent of OSAS. (3) The frequency of 4G/5G genotype of PAI-1 gene was higher in OSAS than control, and it might be relate to the severe degree of OSAS. (4) The frequency of Trp64Arg mutation ofβ 3-AR gene was higher in obesity with OSAS than in non-obesity with OSAS. In all the mutation of P 3-AR ,obesity in OSAS was more large than obesity in control. The mutation is probably related to the degree of OSAS and damage of endothelium function. Conclusions: (1) The allele a and ID genotype of ACE might be a risk factor for the OSAS or hypertension of OSAS, and related to the sever degree of OSAS. (2) The relationship of allele a of eNOS and OSAS was not found, but allele b might be effect to the severe extent of OSAS.?The 4G/5G genotype of PAI-1 might be a risk factor for the disease of OSAS or cardio-cerebral vessels diseases and related to the severe degree of OSAS. (4) The genetic mutation of 3 3-adrenergic receptor is probably related to obesity with OSAS, and is probably related to the degree of OSAS and damage of endothelium function.
