The Experimental Study Of The Effect Of Different Herbs Through Intraperitoneal And Acupointal Injection On Regeneration Of Rat's Sciatic Nerve After Injuried

Objective: to observe the therapy effect of Chinese herbs by intraperitoneal andacupointal injection on the sciatic nerve regenerationMethod: First we have successful cultured the Schwann cell in vitro, and then toobserve the effect of different Chinese herbs(such as GeGen, JinJie, HuangQi, JieGeng,YiYiren and ZhujieRenshen) on the Schwann cell proliferation at the differentconcentrations of 50 g/ml, 100 u g/ml, 200 g/ml and 400 g/ml. Second, accordingto the serum-pharmacology methods, we have observed these Chinese herbs effecton the Scwann cell proliferation. Finally, we observed the therapy effect of theseChinese herbs by intraperitoneal and acupointal injection on the sciatic nerveregeneration in vivo.Result: 1 JinJie can promote Schwann cell proliferation at the 200 ?g/ml concentrationpoint.2. The serum which contains low dosage of GeGen and JinJie can also promote theSchwann cell's proliferation.3.The extract from GeGen with water can promote rat's Sciatic nerve regeneration byintraperitoneal injection. The extract from YiYiren with water also has the same effectby acupointal injection. The extract from JinJie with water can promote nerveregeneration not only through intraperitoneal injection, but also through acupointalinjection.
