Clinical Observation On Luteal Phase Defect Treated By "Wen Shen Zhu Yang "Therapy Companied With Western Medicine

Luteal phase defect (abb.LPD) is a clinical syndrom caused by deficiency of progesterone secreted by corpus luteal of ovary. It's main manifestations are ovulatory menstrual dysfunction, infertility and natural abortion early. LPD belongs to preceded menstrual period .threatened abortion,habitual abortion and so on in TCM. This article overviews research development of LPD in TCM and modern medicine from aspects of conception,causative agent and pathomechamesm,diagnosis,therapy and experiment, which will be beneficial for promoting clinical work.Professorm Jin founded "Wen Shen Zhu Yang" therapy treatment companied with western medicine to treat LPD, which based on overyear clinical experience,modern detection index and the theories of TCM and modern medine. This study observed 72 cases of LPD,including 36 cases treated by only western medicine. Results:the total efficiency is 86.11%,compared with the control group,there is significant difference.Conclusions: TCM associated with western medine is more effective in strengthening and perfecting corpus lutein, which takes advantage of pure trad.ch and western medicine, as well as coordinates secretion among hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis.
