Study Of Therapeutic Efficacy Of Ibuprofen To Early Sysmetic Inflammatory Response Syndrome

Objective:To investigate the clinical therapeutic efficacy of Ibuprofen to early systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS) in pediatric patients and investigate the change of TNF, IL-6 in serum.To provide basis for the treament of Ibuprofen to early SIRS.Method:From Dec 2003 to Sep 2004, 60 pediatric patients in the Guangzhou Children hospital were chosen and divided into routine treatment group (30) and Ibuprofen treatment group (30).All patient's condition was in SIRS. Control group was established.(30 healthy children). Measure all patient's TNF,IL-6 in serum by CLEIA and have a scoring. .Measure the patient's temperature,heart rate every four hours a day. Measure white blood cell every morning. Result:(l)Before treatment, the routine group's TNF was 11.21 ± 2.03pg/ml, IL-6 was 19.95 ± 6.92 pg/ml, the Ibuprofen group's TNF was 11.59±1.18 pg/ml, IL-6 was 21.18±5.96 pg/ml, which were higher than control group's. P <0.05;but there was no difference between the routine group and Ibuprofen group.P>0.05.(2)After treatment ,the declining rage of IL-6 in the Ibuprofen group was largerer than routine group; but the declining rage of TNF was little between the two treatment group.(3)The efficacy of lowing temperature for Ibuprofen group was better than routine group in the first day.(4)There was no remarkably change in heart rate between routine group and Ibuprofen group during treatment.(5)After treatment,white blood cell was remarkably lowered in the Ibuprofen group.Conclusion:(1)In the treatmeng of early SIRS ,Ibuprofen has inhibition for IL-6 in serum (2)The treatment of Ibuprofen for early SIRS is effective.
