Objective The manifestation of electrocardiogram (ECG) of 32 cases of primary subarachnoid haemorrhage was analyzed in this article to declare the relationship of primary subarachnoid haemorrhage and ECG. Methods Cases of subarachnoid haemorrhage selected random from our hospital in 5 years were divided into tow groups according to ECG, then we analyzed their common conditions and changes of ECG. Results There were 6 cases (18%) in ECG normal group (I group), and 26 cases (82%) in ECG abnormal group (II group), the incidence of sinus tachycardia as highest account for 30%. The incidence of other ECG abnormal were ranged successively as following: left ventricular hyper voltage was accounted for 6 cases (18% ) . S-T segment run-up and sinus bradycardia were accounted for 4 cases respectively, S-T segment depression was accounted for 6 cases (9%). Other arrhythmia such as ventricular or atrial premature etc were less. Another aside, comparing to the mortality of patients inII groups whom had ECG improving or deterring, the former was more lower, it showed a very obvious difference statistics (P<0. 001). Conclusion The results of our study suggested that the patients suffer from subarachnoid haemorrhage complicated by ECG abnormal had bad prognosis. It also suggested that the change of ECG may be taken as an important prognosis judge index for primary subarachnoid haemorrhage.
