| Objective To observe the image characteristic of highly myopic eyes in binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy, ultrasound B , optical coherence tomography, to measure the thickness of the nerve epithelium layer , to analyse the morphology feature and the coherent factors of posterior staphyloma in highly myopic. Subjects and Methods1. Subjects The 85 eyes of 57 cases were divided into 2 groups. The cases of one group were come from PS, the other group on opposite. The PS group was divided into groups according to OCT image.2. MethodsAll eyes of highly myopic eyes were examined under slit-lamp microbioscopy ( exclude pseudocrystal eyes and other disease of the eyes) , vision, BCVA, OCT, A scan, B scan , indirect binocular ophthalmoscopy and color fundus photography. The shape of PS was detected by ultrasound B. Result1. Appearance and diopter in highly myopic eyes1.1 The detectable rate of PS in highly myopic eyes by B scan is 50.59%. There were 3 kinds of patterns in color fundus photography, 2 kinds of appearance in B scan.The shape of PS concerned with the diopters and axial lengths1.2 The diopter and axial length of PS eyes was higher than the non-PS ones. P<0.001. The BCVA of PS eyes were lower than the non-PS ones. There was no obvious difference in different age groups. P>0.052. The OCT image of high myopia showed five different pattens2.1 Normal retina.2.2 The retina was thinner.2.3 Macular neovascularization. |
