Epidemiological study of SARS in Shaanxi provinceTo know the epidemiological characteristics of Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and afford scientific references for corresponding measure which can be taken to control and annihilate epidemic situation, 12 diagnosed cases who suffered from SARS in Shaanxi province were investigated with the same questionnaire which are constituted for epidemiological cases. It shows that there are no statistical differences between males and females by the analysis of distribution in population and only one health care worker suffered from SARS. Judged from distribution by age, 12 diagnosed cases are most youth. The proportion of SARS cases who aged from 20 to 49 is 83.3%. No younger ones suffered from SARS.
