Objective : To study the influence of different incision to treat renal cell cancer. Methods: Cases (112) of renal cell cancer were divided into two groups .Radical nephrectomy were practiced in patients of one group(group I) through abdominal incision , and the other group (group II) through waist incision . Hemorrhage , hospitalization, complications and prognosis in two groups were compared. Result: Patients in group I have better prognosis, hemorrhage and complications are less. Hospitalization is no different in two groups. Conclusion: Radical nephrectomy practiced through abdominal incision is a better choice.
