Objective To study the association of nitric oxide(NO), endothelium-1(ET-1) and Von Willebrand factor(vWF) with Raynaud's phenomena(RP) of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and systemic sclerosis(SSc) patients. To investigate the difference of NO , ET-1 and vWF plasma level in SLE patients and those in SSc patients and so to find out their effects on the pathogenisis of RP in SLE and SScMethod The plasma NO, ET-1 and vWF of SLE and SSc patients with or without RP and normal controls were detected by nitratase assay, radioimmunoassay and immunal turbidimetry Result The plasma levels of NO, ET-1 and vWF of SLE or SSc patients with RP are significantly higher than those of SLE or SSc patients without RP, the latter are also significantly higher than the normal controls (p<0.01); The NO levels of SSc without RP are significantly higher than those of SLE without RP(p<0.01); The ET-1 levels of SSc with or without RP are significantly higher than those of SLE with or without RP(p<0.01); The vWF levels of SSc with RP are significantly higher than those of SLE with RP(p<0.01)Conclusion NO, ET-1 and vWF are highly relative to the RP occurrence of SLE and SSc patients , The plasma levels of NO, ET-1 and vWF are parallel to the vessel damage...
