| Nephrectomy is the fundamental treatment of renal carcinoma. Hormone, chemotherapy and radiotherapy are not effective. In some cases such as solitary kidney cancer, both kidneys cancers, contralateral kidney's hypofunction, or the patient's body constitution being too poor to endure big operation, etal, it is not proper to operate radical nephrectomy. Heminephrectomy or tumor cutting-out is orthodox renal operation with reservation, which is more complicated, difficult, and has more complications. So it will be significant to find a new method that can treat nephrectomy through intervention.Holmium yttrium aluminium garnet (Ho : YAG) laser which is intermediate infrared lasers has been extensively applied in every clinical department because of its such good properties as its precise ablation and gasification and dissection and coagulation and hemostasis to soft tissues as well as its lithotripsy, and its being able to transmit through optical fiber and so being able to get close or inset to deep part of body.
