The major factor of heart failure is that cardiaomyocytes cannot differentiate and regenerate when the heart is damaged, instead it is repaired by scar. Recently many researchers have begun to treat ischemia heart deseases by cell transplantation to discover a new method to prevent final heart failure. There were many kinds of seed cells, which can be implanted into hearts, including myoblasts, mesenchymal stem cells, cardiac cells(embryonic, neonatal, adult), smooth muscle, and etc. However, each of these cells have its own shortcome when they were transplanted into hearts. We choose autologus left auricle cardiomyocytes for transplantation, not only avoiding the shortcomes mentioned above but convenient to harvest and isolate without the problems such as transplantation immunity or moral principles, etc. It also provides the source for repair and construction of myocardium. In this study we use autologus left auricle cardiomyocytes as seed cells, investigate the survival of grafted autologous left auricle cardiomyocytes and the effect on peripheral blood-supply, heart rate and cardiac function.in order to supply a experimental evidence for clinical treat ischemic cardiomyopathy.
