The mouth cavity is a ecosystem environment effected by biochemistry and electricity chemistry etc. Be one of the human body four greatest germs databases, the microorganism is mutually exist extensive and complicated mutually check with the human body, helping maintenance the balance of the ecosystem environment. With the using of dental prosthetic restoration, this balance is destructed. It is why there are more Gingivitis, dental caries and denture stomatitis with the person wearing denture. These requests the denture material contain very high physics and chemistry property. We discover that the category and quantity of the microorganism attached on the surface of denture is the chief cause of denture stomatitis;it is also an important factor that affects the denture usage time and the usage result. So it is an important topic to improve anti-virusability of the denture surface.Nanometer amorphous diamond (NAD) film is the newest product of diamond like carbon (DLC) films. The film has high hardness, low modulus of elasticity, chemical inertness and low coefficient of friction and has been used on metal substrates. The film can be deposited under 80℃.In order to apply nanometer amorphous diamond film in the prosthodontics field, the biocompatibility of the nanometer amorphous diamond film and the adhesion of the film on acrylic denture resins substrates were studied in 2002, Studies tested the nanometer amorphous diamond film is a kind of material with favorable biocompatibility and can be used as a kind of dental material. It can be deposited on acrylic resin substrates; Polarization can improve adhesion of the film on denture resins substrates. Mezzo thickness is important. 50nm film is better than 100nm film. This study is to observe the anti-virus function of denture resins substrates deposited with the nanometer amorphous diamond film and find out whether the nanometer amorphous diamond film can help demolishing the formation of dental plaque. It can provide more experiment data for the further application of the nanometer amorphous diamond film in the prosthodontics field. The main results of the study were follows:1. The roughness of denture resin samples can be reduced by nanometer amorphous diamond film (p<0.05). This is one reason why the nanometer amorphous diamond...
