The Study Of Relationship Between The Micrometastasis Of No. 10 Lymph Nodes (LN) And The Biological Behavior Of Gastric Cancer And Its Clinical Significance.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the relationship between the micrometastasis of No. 10 lymph nodes and the biological behavior of 59 gastric cancer and its clinical significance; to evaluate the necessary of dissection of No. 10 lymph nodes.MethodsThe micrometastasis of No. 10 lymph nodes was detected by the intermission - continuous section and CK20 immunohistochemistry technique.ResultsMicrometastasis of No. 10 lymph nodes were observed in 15 lymph nodes of 14 patients. There is no relationship between the micrometastases of No. 10 lymph nodes and gross type and maximaldiameter of the tumor,and there is the relationships with the differentiation, diffuse type, invasion depth and position of the primary tumor, the posititive metastasis in No. 4 lymph nodes were predictive factors for micrometastasis to No. 10 lymph nodes.ConclusionThe method of conjointing the intermission continuous - section and CK20...
