ObjectiveTo investigate the daunorubicin-induced(DNR) cardiotoxicity in the treatment of acute leukemia of children .MethodsWe Collected 68 cases of pediatric acute leukemia that were treated with DNR and choosed the children with cardiotoxicity. We divided them into groups and analyzed according to clinical types and accumulated doses.Result9 of the 68 cases show cardiotoxicity, in which chronic secondary cardiotoxicity is common . The younger the child is ,The more the accumulated dose is , the higher the incidence of cardiotoxicity is.ConclusionFor the children treated with DNR, accumulated doses should be controlled accurately and drug toxicity monitoring should be made regularly. Long-term follow-up should be neccesary, so that heart injury can be detected promptly.
