Expression Of KDR In Placentas Of Patients Complicated With Pre-eclampsia

OBJECTIVE: Detected the expression of KDR and MVD value in placentas of normal pregnancies and patients with pre-eclampsia to analysis the relationship between KDR and lesions of blood vessels in placentas , determine the mechanism of pathogenesis and offer the accordance to prevent and treat this disease. METHOD: Immunohistochemistry SP method was used to detect expression of KDR and MVD value in placentas in 22 cases of severe, 20 cases of light pre-eclampsia and 20 cases of normal pregnancies. RESULTS: The positive rate of KDR in severe pre-eclampsia significantly decreased compared with light group and normal controls (P<0.01) ,whereas it was significantly less in light pre-eclampsia group than that in normal controls (P<0.05 ) . The MVD value in severe pre-eclampsia was significantly less than that in light group and normal controls (P<0.01) ,also it obviously decreased in light pre-eclampsia group (P<0.05 ) . There's obviously positive relation between KDR and MVD value, r=0.855,P<0.01. CONCLUSIONS: The expression of KDR and MVD value decreased significantly in local placentas of patients with pre-eclampsia, there's obviously positive relation between these two variables, which proved there're vessel reformation disorders of placentas in patients complicated with pre-eclampsia. The decrease of KDR may related to the onset and progression of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy.
