Mycoplasmal pneumonia(MP) is one most common pneumonia happened in school child and adolescent period, and also considerable in infant period and it is also one common infectious disease in pediatrics. At present, the pathological change of MP is interstitial pneumonia, or mixed bronchopneumonia or lobar pneumonia. The pathogenesis is prone to the theories of adsorption of the endothelial cells in respiratory tract, direct intrusion and immunology. There are multitude organs damages and even concurrent diseases outside the lung caused by the pathogenic bacteria encroaching on any organ. The incidence of Pedo-pneumonia increases year by year, and its diagnosis and treatment become the focus of TCM pediatrics. The determination of treatment based in pathogenesis obtained through differentiation of symptoms and signs is the essence of TCM and how to make the MP pattern of syndrome more objective and standard is the development direction of the study of TCM MP syndrome.The object of this study is to observe and approach the relationship between pedo-MP and the TCM differentiation of syndrome, to explore the rule of TCM syndrome of MP and to provide the objective differentiation proof for the study of TCM pedo-MP syndrome and standard treatment.There are Chinese and English abstract, theory research, clinic research, conclusion, suggestion and et. in this article. In the theory research part, the definition of pedo-MP, etiological agent, pathology, test facility, ancient and modern TCM etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis were discussed and the condition about the pedo-MP syndrome research was introduced.
