Objective To study and compare the effect of incuneation anostomosis technique and other surgericai techniques on SD rat peripheral nerve injuries repair and investigate the promotion procedue for peripheral nerve regeneration, choosing a better repairing method when nerve is defected. Methods Forty adult Sprague-Dawley rats were used regardless of male or female .The animals were randomly divided into four groups(n=40):A was control group end-to-side neurorrhaphy .Every group freezing with liquid nitrogen five seconds, cutting with a self-made nerves cutterbar at fibular nerve diverge from sciatic nerve .A was cutted 45 ° incline at broken ends of fractured nevers(n=10),B was cutted 30° Wedge shape(n=10), C was cutted 45° Wedge shape(n=10), D was cutted 60° Wedge shape(n=10),respectively.A were end-to-side neurorrhaphy, others groups were incuneation anostomosis. All rats were observed and detected in morphology, musclur humid weight, electromyogram, histology. Results The moter nerve conduction velocity, latency of evoked potential and muscle wet weighing in the incuneation group were inferior to that in end-to-side group.Incuneation anostomosis have obviously an advantage than end-to-side neurorrhaphy in promoting nerves fiber regenerate. Conclusion After using incuneation anostomosis, the nerves regeneration well; incuneation anostomosis has more effect on nerve regeneration than end-to-side neurorrhaphy;the wedge shape embedded in should has the angle of 45° ,which can make nerve fiber growing maximum, and it is the best angle. Incuneation neurorrhaphy, when dynamic nerve defect in clinic ,will acquire a better repairing effection.
