| The evaluation of preventive and therapeutic drugs and the general clinical protocols to sulfur mustard induced toxicity in animals were studied in this paper. First, 4mg/kg (body weight) of SM was found to be suitable dosage for screening the preventive and therapeutic drugs in SD rats. With this dosage Unithiol and Nicardipine's therapeutic effects on SM induced toxicity were evaluated. It was showed that they may accelerate the recovery of SD rats after SM exposure. Base on the previous study, we map out the general clinical protocol and found it could significantly improve the rescuing livability of the dogs after SM exposure. The use of rhEPO and rhG-CSF after SM exposure can stimulate the growth of the erythrocyte, reticulocyte and leucocyte in dogs. Serum CK and CK-MB are sensitive indexes after SM exposure, and may help to determine the time and dosage of poisoning. SM has obvious long-term toxic effect on male germ cells, and generic therapeutic measures can't accelerate the recovery of germ cells in short time. |
